Gateway News

Some in our industry might liken the Jones Lang LaSalle Dallas consolidation project as a perfect storm!  Certainly any time you begin to occupy a newly constructed building there are issues to overcome as various trades finish their work in the space.   But when the project involves multiple firms relocating as a result of merger, things can get intense.  Gateway RCS was blessed to serve as consultant to no less than five distinct firms.   And as a result, we facilitated multiple RFP’s for services that included moving and desktop PC deinstall and reinstall.   Now with all of this going on, the plan also included the reuse of many truckloads of existing case good furniture, modular workstations, and IT infrastructure.   But the sun did break through the clouds  and with the team work of JLL – Chicago, JLL – Dallas, and Gateway RCS, the proverbial “Open for Business” sign was hung…….Right on time.

At UT Southwestern Medical Center , progress rolls on.  With the recent purchase of two existing towers and concourse at Exchange Park, renamed Paul M. Bass Administrative and Clinical Center, the newly renovated space is providing much needed expansion room.  Gateway RCS is pleased to be helping multiple departments relocate into this new campus area while providing move management services to minimize disruption.  Helping our clients plan, prepare and execute quick and efficient moves continues to be our main focus.

Phase I complete!  One of the many projects the folks at Tarrant County College District has in progress is their renovation of the WCTS building located at the Northwest campus.  Our project management team, along with Parsons, coordinated and managed all packing and moving activity.  The efforts of Gateway RCS assisted in the successful occupation of the newly renovated half of WCTS.  With no time to rest, all surplus FF&E was immediately removed to TCCD's central warehouse to make way for construction of Phase II.
